There will always be a food offering available; however the location may move between the two riverside restaurants on site and our popular Lounge.
IS AFTERNOON TEA STILL RUNNING
ARE WE ABLE TO ORDER DRINKS ON THE TERRACE IF WE ARE WALKING ON THE TOWPATH DURING THE REFURBISHMENT
Yes, whilst we refurbish, we’ll continue to operate as we do today. Once we relaunch as a Warner Leisure Hotel our offerings will be for residents, spa members or pre-booked guests only.
WILL YOU BE CLOSING THE SPA DURING THE REFURBISHMENT
There are no plans to close the spa in its entirety, but there will be times when some facilities will be limited or unavailable for health and safety reasons or for building works at certain periods.
WILL WE BE ABLE TO USE THE OUTDOOR POOL IF WE ARE UNABLE TO USE THE INDOOR POOL
The outdoor pool will be available to use whilst the indoor pool undergoes refurbishment work.
WHEN WILL THE POOL AREA BE REFURBISHED
We’re working through the plans and will let you know as soon as it’s confirmed; where we can do refurb works sooner (such as the changing rooms which have just been upgraded), we will do so and the on-site team will be made aware.
WILL SPA MEMBERS GET A REDUCTION IN FEES DURING THE REFURBISHMENT
The members have been given a discount on their monthly subs during the refurbishment. To the best of our ability – spa members will still get discounts and offers both during and post-refurbishment, although it does depend on the availability of certain services and facilities at certain times. The loyalty programme is currently under discussion.
CAN WE USE THE FACILITIES IF WE'RE NOT STAYING AT THE HOTEL
Yes, you’re welcome to continue to use the hotel as you do today, up until we relaunch as a Warner Leisure hotel
WHEN ARE FAMILIES NO LONGER ALLOWED TO STAY
Our bedrooms have been fully refurbished and as we gradually transition to a Warner Adults only hotel later in the year, these rooms are no longer able to accommodate families appropriately due to the inclusion of new features such as walk-on balconies. Children, are, however, still very welcome in our spa or restaurants as we are not a fully adults only hotel until Autumn 2024.
WILL CHILDREN BE ALLOWED ON THE TERRACES/IN THE GROUNDS DURING THE REFURBISHMENT

ARE THE PUBLIC ALLOWED IN THE HOTEL/GROUNDS DURING BUILDING WORK
Yes, whilst we refurbish, we’ll continue to operate as we do today but there may be restrictions due to the building works as we need to safeguard our guests. Once we relaunch as a Warner Leisure hotel our offerings will be for residents only, unless you’ve pre-booked an experience with us or are a spa member.
WILL DOGS BE WELCOME
Regretfully our dog friendly accommodation is no longer available due to the ongoing refurbishment works, therefore, we are unable to welcome our four-legged friends.
WILL THE HOTEL REMAIN FOUR STAR
Warner Leisure Hotels are not categorised under the AA stars system.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO STOP NON-RESIDENTS ENTERING THE HOTEL WHEN IT BECOMES A WARNER LEISURE HOTEL
