Located just a hop, skip and a jump from Royal Windsor, we’re perfectly positioned to celebrate the upcoming coronation of HM King Charles III. Available from 1st – 8th May, our Coronation Break package includes a bed and breakfast stay, complete with limited-edition ‘Fit for a King’ afternoon tea and full use of the facilities including the outdoor pool.
We welcome back our fabulous fleet of boats this month, so you can explore the Thames at your own pace in one of our fantastic riverboats. All our boats are accessed via the hotel’s private jetty and are ideal for a family day trip or a romantic excursion. As the boats are suitable for beginners and experienced skippers alike, there’s something for everyone – we can even prepare a picnic for your day on the river!
From Monday 1st – Monday 8th May, we will be celebrating the coronation of HM King Charles III with Champagne afternoon tea fit for a King. The menu will feature a selection of traditional finger sandwiches, homemade scones and themed cakes with flavours taken from both home and across the globe, all served with a glass of Champagne to toast the momentous occasion – plus, there will be a surprise gift!
Pop by the Lounge, sink into a comfy chair and enjoy views of the Thames, complete with our limited-edition royal cocktail. Featuring Royal Windsor Gin with raspberries from the Windsor estate, the cocktail is sweet and refreshing, garnished with fresh raspberries and rose buds.
Guests staying with us at The Runnymede on Thames can explore Windsor at ease during the coronation, thanks to our complimentary shuttle service. Expect an atmosphere like no other and a star-studded concert on Sunday, though please note – tickets have to be pre-booked for this.
