Enjoying precious time off with family at Easter is what this annual celebration should be all about. As a family-run hotel, we know just how to make this happen to keep the whole family happy.

For our Easter break packages, we’ll keep your whole family snug and spoiled by giving you a glass of fizz on arrival and Easter treat in your room. If you’ve given up chocolate for Lent, this is the ultimate way to get back into the swing of things. When you check in, the children will all receive a duck toy too, celebrating our resident ducks who love The Runnymede’s grounds as much as our guests do! Our family-friendly rooms come with bunk beds or cots so you can be together as a family. Or couples can get cosy in double, superior or deluxe rooms. Our sumptuous Hypnos mattresses offer the ultimate comfort for movie and chocolate sessions.

Before you settle down in your room, however, make the most of what The Runnymede on Thames and the local area has to offer. Pay a visit to our spa, eat lunch in one of our tempting riverside restaurants or simply kick back and relax in our Lounge with a coffee. Our children’s playground will also be open for Easter, providing plenty of opportunities to entertain the little ones without having to leave the hotel.

As the outside world starts to wake up for spring, make the most of our River Thames location. Play oversized games such as Connect Four and chess on our lawn if the weather’s mild enough, and take a wander along the Thames towpath to soak up the surroundings. Runnymede Pleasure Grounds is just a short walk away, while the various Magna Carta monuments and memorials are a little further along in the stunning Runnymede Meadow. The Runnymede on Thames is just a short car journey away from some of the UK’s best theme parks, including LEGOLAND Windsor, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures. Days spent whizzing around on rides paves the way for relaxing evenings back at The Runnymede on Thames.

In the evening, families can indulge the kids in pizza making or build-a-burger sessions at the Leftbank restaurant, while couples can enjoy a slap-up dinner in our AA Rosette winning restaurant, The Lock Bar and Kitchen. Our menu will match the emerging spring season – ideal for indulging the taste buds after Lent.

Afterwards, you could go and paint the town red in Windsor. But we know sometimes all you want from a mini-break is to kick back and relax. Cue: chocolate Easter eggs and movies in your room. You know you want to.

In the morning, we’ll throw in a full English breakfast to make your luxuriant Easter break last that little bit longer. We know it’ll be difficult to say goodbye to The Runnymede on Thames when you finally do have to leave, but there’s no doubt this will have been a relaxing Easter break to relish. Come back and see us again soon!
