With a core belief that natural wines are the way forward, Les Caves de Pyrene is the first of our wine suppliers. The company are keen to promote the wines that are expressive of their homeland, are made by hand with minimal chemical intervention and do the least harm to the environment. Even better, small, independent winemakers are championed above others!

Not only is the environment a strongly considered factor but so are their buying principles. Put it simply – only the best wine is purchased. The fundamental elements of good wine has been established as having balance, cleanliness, expression, personality, value, drinkability and closure, so you can rest assured that the glass of red you ordered with dinner at Leftbank was of the finest quality!

Thomson & Scott Noughty

For those of you who don’t drink we’ve made sure that the non-alcoholic sparkling wine on our menu is one to rival the alcoholic variety in terms of taste. So, we joined forces with Thomson & Scott who supply us with bottles of their delicious Noughty – the first top quality, alcohol-free, organic, vegan, halal, low-sugar sparkling wine. And the great news doesn’t stop there – Thomson & Scott are B Corp certified, meaning that they have met the high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. A glass of Noughty can be enjoyed with our delicious Champagne Afternoon Tea.

Swig

Our final supplier, Swig, is all about the pleasure of discovering, drinking and sharing great wine from all around the world. They have been championing independent growers since 1997, working with family-owned producers – the majority of which are organic or farmed sustainably. Swig’s founder, Robin Davis, has explained that the company don’t just take on famous names for the sake of it, and with one of his greatest joys being discovering an up-and-coming producer, introducing them to customers and seeing them flourish. You can be guaranteed great wine with Swig!
