2-night Couples Staycation Itinerary

DAY ONE:

1pm: Check-in

Your break starts the moment you step through the door. Drop your bags off in your room and start to unwind.

2pm: Relax in our award-winning spa

Don your dressing-gown and make your way to our spa. Swim a few laps, sit back in our whirlpool and try out our infra-red cabin. If the sun is shining, don’t forget to head outside where you can stretch out on a sun-lounger by our outdoor pool. We highly recommend indulging in one of our spa treatments, be it a revitalising facial or relaxing massage.

6pm: Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting

Don’t miss our brand new activity! Enjoy some healthy competition with your loved one, taking aim with our state-of-the-art, laser-adapted rifles.

8pm: Dinner in Leftbank

With riverside views, tasty dishes and an extensive wine list, Leftbank is the perfect place to enjoy night one of your staycation. Spend quality time together over a romantic dinner from our modern, British menu. Book a Table

10pm: A nightcap in the Lounge

Did you know we have a pretty impressive gin menu? After an al fresco dinner, cosy up in the Lounge with a gin or tipple of your choice.

DAY TWO:

9am: A hearty breakfast

Wake up over freshly brewed coffee, fruit and pastries. Then move on to the main event – make yours a freshly cooked Full English with all the extras, or build a continental breakfast from an array of other breakfast treats.

10.30am: Sight-see

Head upriver to Windsor for shopping galore, Windsor Great Park and to pay a visit to Windsor Castle. The Magna Carta memorials are reachable on foot from The Runnymede too, commemorating the sealing of the Magna Carta in 1215 in our historic surroundings. There’s plenty of other beautiful outdoor spots to visit too; RHS Garden Wisley, Swinley Forest and Hampton Court Palace are a few of our favourites.

4pm: Afternoon Tea

We pull out all the stops when it comes to afternoon tea. Indulge your sweet tooth with a towering stand of homemade cakes and scones, delectable finger sandwiches and a sparkling glass of Rosé Champagne.

7pm: Whirlpool on the Weir

Head to our private jetty and you’ll find our Whirlpool nestled on the banks of the River Thames. Perfect for long summer evenings, it’s one of our most romantic and relaxing experiences – don’t forget the Champagne!

DAY THREE:

10.30am: Paddleboarding or boat hire

A visit to The Runnymede is not complete without getting out on the water! If you’re up for a little more by way of adventure, why not hire our paddleboards? Alternatively, we have our fantastic electric riverboats available for you to set sail on the River.

2.30pm: Lunch at River Hideout

Once you’re back on dry land, head to the River Hideout, our new, spacious outdoor pergola for some delicious food. Think home-made pizza’s, mouth-watering burgers and fresh salads. Paired with a cold drink from our Airstream Trailer, it’s an idyllic spot to enjoy a summer’s afternoon.

4.30pm: Explore the local area

On your way home, make the most of all we have on our doorstep and tick off one of our lesser-known local attractions.
