A must-see when visiting Windsor, Changing the Guard takes place on various days throughout the week. Wearing their bright red uniform and bearskin caps, see the guards march up the high street and into Windsor Castle, led by a Regimental Band. Paying visitors to the Castle can see the actual ‘changing’ ceremony which signifies the handover between different groups of guards and has been a ceremony upheld since 1660.
