2pm: Check-in and explore
Your break starts the moment you step through the door. Drop off your things in your cosy bedroom, make yourself a cuppa and then take a wander. Our grounds are home to the Magna Carta Garden and pretty lawns than spill towards the river – offering direct access to the River Thames towpath too.
4pm: Relax and unwind
After getting acquainted with your surroundings, it’s high time to don your dressing gowns to indulge in some down-time in our award-winning spa. Swim a few laps, sit back in our whirlpool and try out our infra-red cabin. Then stretch out on a lounger and get stuck into a good book.
6pm: Aperitif in the new-look Lounge
As the evening draws in, head down to The Lounge for a gin and tonic, craft beer or glass of wine. The new-look Lounge has an incredible 360-degree fireplace and a curated array of seating – so you’re guaranteed to find a chair that’s just right for you. It’s time to say ‘cheers’!

11am: Sight-see
Make the most of our local area on your mini-break. Head upriver to Windsor for shopping galore and to pay a visit to Windsor Castle. The Magna Carta memorials are reachable on foot from The Runnymede too, commemorating the sealing of the Magna Carta in 1215 in our historic surroundings.
3pm: Game, set + spa
After having your fill of sightseeing, head back to The Runnymede for a little active relaxation. Enjoy a friendly tennis match on one of our three courts or make the most of our well-stocked gym. Then treat yourself to a little more spa time to rejuvenate before dinner.
