Staying with Children

As a family-run hotel, we know a thing or two about what makes families tick.

A family-friendly hello

Your little ones will receive an extra warm welcome when they arrive at The Runnymede on Thames, receiving a Runnymede goody bag complete with a colouring pack and soft toy.

After you arrive, it’s time to get settled into one of our family-friendly rooms. We can supply cots for babies, or you can stay in a duplex with a separate child’s sleeping area if you’ve got bigger children.

Just let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your family’s stay more comfortable – we can do everything from organising babysitting services to bringing you board games and child-friendly room-service.

Things to do with children

We’ve got plenty to keep your little ones occupied when you come to stay at The Runnymede on Thames this winter. Take them for a splash in our indoor pool or enjoy some relaxing time together over a festive family afternoon tea.

If you want to venture further afield, wander along the river Thames and we’ll give you some seed to feed the ducks along the way. Take in some history at the Magna Carta Monument and other memorials, or visit nearby Windsor Castle for a very royal outing.

The Runnymede on Thames is also within striking distance of attractions including LEGOLAND® Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures, Lapland UK and the Warner Bros. Studio for The Making of Harry Potter tour which all make for a magical Christmas adventure.

Dining with Children

Our Leftbank Restaurant is just perfect for families. Buffet style dining at its best. Our chefs freshly prepare a range of healthy meals and treats, ensuring there’s something ideal for each and every member of the family. Kids can even create their own pizza or build their own burger. Our Duckling Dinners costs just £10 per child. Find out more.

For something a little different, treat the kids to a festive afternoon tea! As you sit back and enjoy our indulgent Champagne afternoon tea, the kids can tuck into their own selection of finger sandwiches and sweet things along with a babycino, hot chocolate or soft drink. It makes for a unique afternoon together feasting on seasonal goodies! Find out more.
