1. Windsor Castle at Christmas

Experience a fairytale Christmas at Windsor Castle this year. With a magnificent 20-foot tree taken from Windsor Great Park, festooned with hundreds of twinkling lights and ornaments, this will be the magical centrepiece of St George’s Hall. As well as the beautiful festive décor, a special pantomime display will showcase costumes worn by The Queen and her sister, Princess Margaret, when they were teenagers performing in pantomimes at Windsor Castle during the Second World War.

2. Christmas Trail around Eton

A wonderful activity to do with little ones, wrap up warm and take to the streets of Eton, in search for the Eton Christmas teddy bears. Hidden in the town’s shop windows and each sporting a letter, find all of the teddy bears to spell out a Christmas-related word and you could win a prize!

3. Garter Tower Christmas Illuminations

Towering over the cobbled streets of Windsor at 50 feet stands the Garter Tower of Windsor Castle, which will be illuminated with a breath-taking display of images of stained glass architecture and motifs from St George’s Chapel dated from the 15th century. Wrap up warm and admire the spectacle with all the family.

You can’t beat a fun day out at a theme park, and when it’s nearly Christmas, it’s even more exciting! At LEGOLAND, explore the park as it’s transformed into a magical wintry wonderland, and enjoy all of your favourite rides before visiting Father Christmas in his log cabin where the kids will receive a special LEGO gift. With a DUPLO Puppet pantomime and a spectacular festive light display, this is the perfect way for the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit.

5. Windsor Great Park Illuminated

Expect a truly magical evening as the grounds of Windsor Great Park are lit up with dazzling light displays and beautiful projections. Wander along the twinkling trails and pass by fountains of flowers, witnessing an impressive laser light display amongst the trees, before taking a break and indulging in delicious food, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Fire pits will of course be on hand for the all-important marshmallow toasting!

6. Lapland UK

A magical immersive experience based on the story of Father Christmas, this one’s perfect for the kids. Venture into the snowy world of Lapland and help the elves with their toy-making, before exploring the Elven Village where you can refuel in Pumpernickel’s restaurant with a tasty selection of snacks and hot drinks, visit Pixie Mixie’s sweetshop, or do some Christmas shopping in the Elf Emporium.
