Spring has arrived, the end of lockdown is in sight and it’s not long until we can welcome you back for a well overdue stay. However, as everything isn’t quite back to normal in time for the school holidays, we thought you may need a little inspiration when it comes to entertaining the kids over the next few weeks. Here are our suggestions for a fun-filled Easter break.
It’s set to be this summer’s favourite outdoor sport, so get ahead and glide gracefully across the river this Easter holidays on our brand new stand-up paddle boards.
Please note: Paddle boards are available for hire daily for 4 hours at 10.30am or 2.45pm for £20. Paddle boards will only be rented to those with previous experience and guests will sign a disclaimer to rent them.
We are delighted that come May, we will be offering brand new activities at The Runnymede including Archery and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting. But if you can’t wait until then, keep the kids entertained over at The Grove who offer a whole range of outdoor pursuits.
Boat season is back from 12 April and we cannot wait, especially because we have brand new riverboats available for hire. Sail in style before returning to our outdoor terrace for drinks and ice cream!
Between 29th March and 18th April, head to Marble Hill, an English Heritage site that is hosting an outdoor Easter Adventure Quests. Explore the outdoor trails, crack the clues and search for dragon eggs to win your chocolate reward.
Though many activities remain closed, Kew Gardens beautiful outdoor Gardens are welcoming families from Wednesday 31 March to Sunday 18 April for ‘Dennis & Gnasher’s Big Bonanza’. Uncover plants and pranks and follow Beano’s interactive story trail around the Gardens.
