Prepare to be spooked this October with Thorpe Park’s annual ‘Fright Night’ events to celebrate Halloween. Featuring live action horror experiences such as spine-tingling scare mazes, truly petrifying scare zones and shows, along with three brand new scare attractions. Brave some of the UK’s most extreme rides in the dark such as the Colossus roller-coaster, ride on the UK’s first winged rollercoaster The Swarm, Derren Brown’s Ghost Train and be prepared to get spooked on the Saw the movie ride… enter if you dare.

Expect a Monster Party, where the Lego Monsters take over the park, plus a live Monster Jam show on the harbour, a brand new 4D movie and plenty of photo opportunities with Lego decorations.
Taking place at Crockford Bridge Farm in October, The Pumpkin Festival: is a family-friendly event that features live entertainers, thousands of pumpkins and an array of Halloween-themed activities for children to enjoy. You can also experience pumpkin picking (with an additional ticket) at Surrey’s largest growers of Pumpkins – expect pumpkins of all shapes and sizes and once you’ve picked your chosen pumpkin enjoy outdoor pumpkin carving and knife-free carving for children.
Enjoy a classic Halloween movie at the newly opened Everyman cinema in Egham. A cinema experience like no other, sit back on a plush velvet sofa and relax with some delicious food and drinks delivered to your seat – there’s no long queues for popcorn here. With afternoon and evening films on in the run-up to Halloween, this is just the ticket if you’re looking to watch a classic Halloween film on the big screen and what’s more, The Runnymede hotel is within walking distance from the new Everyman cinema.
A family-friendly adventure awaits at the newly opened Hobbletown Heath, Hounslow. Explore four themed villages, set in acres of beautiful woodland and meadow. The site will be transformed from the 22nd – 30th October to celebrate Halloween season with ghostly activities such as a Hidden Letters Halloween trail, Bubble Potion live shows, a fancy dress Monster Ball Dance, Bug Eating competition…if you dare and Pumpkins and Straw bales to decorate, making this is the perfect half term event to spark the imagination of the whole family.
Mark the end of half term with a bang at this dazzling event at Royal Ascot Racecourse. Enjoy a day of horse racing on Saturday 29th October, there will be an array of spooky activities and fairground rides suitable for children of all ages throughout the day. The day will end with epic fireworks display with over 20,000 fireworks will be set off from the centre of the racecourse to light up the sky.
