We are delighted to have raised £10,000 for our chosen hotel charity – MacMillan Cancer Support.
MacMillan Cancer Support is a source of support, with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need. It’s not only patients who live with cancer; they also help carers, families and communities. They fund nurses and other specialist health care professionals and build cancer care centres.
The money was raised through a variety of fund raising activities held throughout the year. These activities included raffles, quiz nights, a pumpkin carving competition, a car wash, a member of staff cutting his beloved long hair off, a MacMillan coffee morning and lots more.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us raise this £10,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support. We are looking forward to organising more fund raising activities this year and raising more money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
