We may be surrounded by rolling British countryside, but there’s plenty to see and do in and around the grounds. Take a stroll along the river or through our apple orchard and fragrant herb garden, or visit the bustling children’s play area to keep kids entertained all day long.
Meander through our grounds and discover the Runnymede Surrey Magna Carta 800th Anniversary Garden, which was designed to commemorate the 800th anniversary of one of the most significant events in British history. It was created by acclaimed landscape designers Patricia Thirion and Janet Honour, and scooped a bronze medal at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in 2015. The distinctive style is evocative of a typical medieval garden, complete with traditional decorative features.
