We have two suites licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.

The Grand Union and The Riverside Suites, are both
licensed for civil ceremonies. Both beautifully refurbished
contemporary suites perfect for the exchange of your vows. Both
offer natural daylight and balconies or riverside terraces and
gardens for drinks and canapé receptions. There are numerous
beautiful spots for photos beside the river and in our orchard…
anywhere you like.
The Grand Union Suite
Sweep up the driveway, walk up your red carpet and
through your own exclusive entrance where your guests will be
eagerly awaiting your arrival. The Grand Union Suite is licensed
for up to 140 people for a civil ceremony and accommodates up to
250 for the wedding reception. There's plenty of space to relax and
move around: a balcony where you can step outside with drinks,
private lawn for a drinks reception, a private bar and lounge
adjacent to the suite, private toilets and even the Mooring café…
this is a wonderful space where children can play on the table
football, pacman, playstation 3 and watch TV and movies.
The Riverside Suite
Enjoy stunning views directly over the Bell Weir Lock and
River Thames as you gather together to celebrate your special day.
The Riverside Suite is licensed for 70* people for a civil ceremony
and accommodates around 80 people for a buffet or 100 for a sit
down meal with dancing. For something completely different, you
could host a drinks reception or a barbeque on the riverside
terrace out in the fresh air with mature trees and riverboats all
around, or enjoy drinks first in the lounge or the lock bar.
There's also a bar within the suite itself, so you can keep the
whole party together.
It's all terribly chic yet down to earth at the same time… there's a fantastic upbeat atmosphere everywhere at the runnymede-on-thames.
