The team at the Runnymede pride themselves on creating a family-friendly atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. We know that for you to fully unwind, your children need to be happily occupied.

Our younger guests are very welcome and in between exciting days at Legoland, Windsor Castle, Thorpe Park and Hampton Court Palace and the countless other major attractions within easy reach of the Runnymede, there’s plenty for everyone – big and small – to do at the hotel.

There’s plenty of fun to get caught up in, come rain or shine... on the lawns overlooking the river there are giant garden games plus a children’s play area near the Spa. Walks along the river lead to the nearby Runnymede Pleasure Grounds and the Magna Carta Memorial where King John signed the famous charter in 1215!

We also have a whole world of board games, books and Lego to inspire young imaginations while you get ready for dinner or enjoy a lie-in. Then there’s our Spa with swimming pool plus a smaller pool especially for the younger children and don’t forget... tennis courts too.

When hunger sets in after all that activity, two restaurants are close at hand with healthy, tasty meals that children of all ages will enjoy plus alcohol-free cocktails for a special holiday treat. Cheers!
